Obituary for Anna Mae Spivey Puckett

Anna Mae Spivey Puckett, 85, widow of Otha "Bud" Puckett passed away Wednesday, March 20th, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Puckett was a native of Estill County, a daughter of the late James Leonard and Bonnie Lee Canter Spivey. She was commander of DAVA Chapter 94 (Irvine Daniel Boone Chapter). She was a member of Flatwoods Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud; a son Billy Lee Puckett; her grandsons Robert Wayne Gay and Sherman Gay III; her brothers Ray, Roy and Leonard Spivey Jr.; her sister Dorothy Lee Spivey. Survivors include her son Larry (Joyce) Puckett; her daughters Debbie Gay (Albert) Sparks and Patricia Lambert, her brothers Troy (Polly) Spivey, Paul (Faye) Spivey, and James Glen (Judy) Spivey; her sisters Naomi Harrison, Audrey (Frank) Puckett, Laura Rose (Clay) Caudill, Nancy Basham; sister-in-law Phyllis Spivey; eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, March 23nd, at 1:00 PM at Lewis Funeral Home, with Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call anytime after 6:00 PM Friday, March 22st at Lewis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be David A. Gay, John Lambert III, Larry Puckett III, Josh Lambert, Chris Puckett, and Scott Reeves.
