Obituary for Rosa Withers Spencer
Rosa Withers Spencer, 81, passed away Sunday at the Compassionate Care Center after a short illness. Mrs. Spencer was a native of Estill County, a daughter of the late Rollie and Lillian Harrison Withers. She was a retired employee of the Marcum Wallace Hospital, and a member of the Irvine Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husbands Linville Allen and C.J. Spencer.
Survivors include her son Lionel Garrett Allen; her step-daugher Linva Lou (Willie) Powell; her grandchildren Samantha, Travis, and Breanna Allen; her step-grandchildren Bret, Jane, Jamie, and Jarad Vaughn; her sister Jean (Bill) Wilcox; her great-grandchild Shayla Allen; her step-great granddaughter Zora Bond; her nieces Debi Baugh, Christina Bledsoe, and Cathy Skinner; and her nephew Billy Wilcox II.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 13th, 11:00 am, at Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 6:00 pm Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Travis Allen, Randy Harrison, Glen Hamilton, Kenny Abshear, Bill Wilcox, and Steve Harrison.
