Anna Mae Spivey Puckett, 85, widow of Otha "Bud" Puckett passed away Wednesday, March 20th, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Puckett was a native of Estill County, a daughter of the late James Leonard and Bonnie Lee Canter Spivey. She was commander of DAVA Chapter 94 (Irvine Daniel Boone Chapter). She was a member of Flatwoods Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud; a son Billy Lee Puckett; her grandsons Robert Wayne Gay and Sherman Gay III; her brothers Ray, Roy and Leonard Spivey Jr.; her sister Dorothy Lee Spivey. Survivors include her son Larry (Joyce) Puckett; her daughters Debbie Gay (Albert) Sparks and Patricia Lambert, her brothers Troy (Polly) Spivey, Paul (Faye) Spivey, and James Glen (Judy) Spivey; her sisters Naomi Harrison, Audrey (Frank) Puckett, Laura Rose (Clay) Caudill, Nancy Basham; sister-in-law Phyllis Spivey; eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, March 23nd, at 1:00 PM at Lewis Funeral Home, with Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
