Ava Colleen McCoy Ball, 93, widow of Ivan Douglas Ball, passed away Thursday at her home. She was a native of Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Rev. Thomas McCoy and the late Bernice Rogers McCoy. Mrs. Ball was a homemaker, and a farm wife. Other than her husband Ivan, she was also preceded in death by her siblings Eula Marie Pickup, Jeanetta Barnett, Anna Phillips, May McCoy, Marvin Joseph McCoy, and Shirley McCoy. She is survived by her children Darrell (Debra) Ball, and Patricia Ball. Graveside services will be held at Flatwoods Cemetery, Monday, at 1:00 pm, with Junann Johnson officiating.
