Bethel Lee Baker, age 72, of Stanton, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Bethel was born on January 5, 1951, in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Arnold and Bethel Leek Wasson.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Baker, 2 brothers, Cecil Pendelton and Russell L. Wasson, along with 1 nephew, Russell Dale Wasson.

Survivors include her daughter, Penny Louise Wiggins-Caldwell and husband Frank, her son, William K. Wiggins. 3 grandchildren, Justin Lee Caldwell and wife Tracie, Sandra Louise Caldwell, Dalton Lee Wiggins and Ashley. 10 great grandchildren, Jayden, Audrey, Brenton, Justin Jr., Brittlei, Eleanor, Remington, Carter, Jaxtyn, and August. 1 special cousin, Sandy Newton, a special nephew, Zachary Dale Wasson and numerous other family and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Bethel Lee Baker will be conducted on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Brian Cromer will be officiating. Interment will follow in the West Irvine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
