Betty Lorena Hester Williams, 98, widow of Marvin E. Williams, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Morning Pointe East in Lexington, Kentucky.

Betty was born on September 27, 1927, in Tifton, Georgia, to the late Bertha Jenerette. She enjoyed a long and dedicated career with AT&T, formerly Southern Bell/BellSouth of Atlanta, Georgia, retiring after more than 39 years of service. Betty was a devoted member of Headland Heights Baptist Church in East Point, Georgia, where she shared her faith and kindness with many.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Paige Williams and Rebecca Williams, her daughter-in-law, Jean A. Williams, all of Georgia; her sister-in-law, Barbara Rison of Irvine; brother-in-law, Donald Williams; and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Williams of Ravenna and Peggy Williams of Louisville. She also leaves behind many beloved family members, nieces, and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Also preceded in death by one son; Larry E Williams.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, 11am at West Irvine Cemetery, officiated by Phil Rison, with burial to follow.
