Beulah Mae Blevins Gay, age 98, departed this life on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Irvine.

Born on January 27, 1925, in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Eli and Vada Curtis Blevins, Beulah was of the Christian Faith.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Gay was also preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Gay, her son, Phillip W. Gay, two brothers, Edward, and Hargis Blevins, two sisters, Thelma Flannery and Della Johns. Three grandchildren, Sherman Gay III, Jason Gay, and Robert Gay, along with one great grandson, James Sneed.

Survivors include three children, Linda G. Crowe and husband Shelby, Sherman Gay Jr., and Eli Gay and wife Sherry. Eight grandchildren, Bradley Crowe and wife Amy, Amy Delaware and husband Len, Melissa Gay, David Gay and wife Andrea, Phillip Gay Jr., Nicki Tipton, Jodi Shelton, and Jamie Shelton. There are seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Marjorie Lehman and Sara Webster will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be, Brad Crowe, David Gay, Bradyn Delaware, Michael Delaware, Canyon Hix and Mason Griggs.
