Billy J. Poston, 54, of Winston Rd, husband of Malina Crump Poston, died Friday. Mr. Poston was a native of Madison County, a son of the Lola Fay Combs Chowning and the late Donald Chowning. He was a power lineman, a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #238, a member of the Providence Baptist Church and a drag racing enthusiast . Survivors other than his wife Malina include a daughter Billie Michell Estes; his sons Wade Ruford Poston and Billy Gene Poston; his grandchildren Jadein, Jaylee and Jirra Estes; a special aunt Mary Ann Fields; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Monday, October 1st, 1:00 PM Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Vanwinkle officiating. Burial will follow in the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 11:00 AM Monday until service time.
