Blanche Spicer, widow of Hershel Spicer, passed away Friday, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. She was a native of Estill County, born October 1st, 1954, a daughter of the late Carl and Edith Ballard West. She was preceded in death by her brother James "Bear" West. Survivors include her sons Delbert West, Joseph Spicer, Hank Spicer; her daughters Mary Richardson, Carol Johnson, and Mollie Spicer; her sister Doris Ann Wheat; her brothers Andy Carl West and Hershel West Spicer; eight grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday, June 5th, 2:00 PM Lewis Funeral Home, with Andy West officiating. Burial will follow in the Spicer Cemetery.
