Bonnie Jean Roberts, 68, passed away Friday, June 17th at the Compassionate Care Center. She was a native of Pike County, Kentucky, a daughter of Andy Thacker and Helen Hopkins Kirk. She enjoyed the Horizon Adult Center, and also enjoyed reading, writing, and poetry. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sheri Blackburn; her brothers Larry and Doug Thacker; her sister Etta Sue Bartley. Survivors include her daughters Tara (Todd Tayler) Roberts, and Staci (Scottie) Brewer; her loving niece Brandi (Matt) Robinson; her grandchildren Corey Lee Blackburn, Courtney Blake Blackburn, Adam Brewer, Jordan Akers, Mollie Damron and Jeffery "J.C." Damron; her great granddaugher Maci Blackburn. There will be a gathering of friends on June 26th, beginning at 1:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 2:00 pm.
