Harold Gene "Buddy" Stevens, 61, boyfriend of Jennifer Barnes, passed away early Sunday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center while awaiting heart surgery. He was born Nov. 28th, 1953 in Estill County. Mr. Stevens enjoyed the outdoors, astronomy, gardening, music, drawing, and animals. Other than his girlfriend Jennifer Barnes, he is survived by their daughter Brittany Lou-Ann Stevens; his sister Vicki (Dean) Whitaker; his brother, Kenny (Joy) Stevens; his nephew Todd (Amy) Tipton; his niece Amanda (Austin) Jolly; and several other extended family members. He was preceded in death his mother Helen Garrett Rhodes; his father Harold Stevens, his daughter Cassandra Gray; his nephew Steven Garrett Tipton. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 22nd beginning at 6:00 pm, at Lewis Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Sept. 23rd at 1:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Greg McClellan officiating. Pallbearers will be Jarod Baker, Danny Clowers, Harold "Buzzy" Horn, Mike Manious, Charlie Park, and Dean Whitaker. �� Service: 1:00 PM�� Wed.
