Carol Baber Neal, 74, wife of Chilton Neal, passed away Tuesday, May 1st at the Pattie A. Clay Hospital in Richmond. Mrs. Neal was a native of Estill County, born July 1st, 1937, a daughter of the late Clyde Baber and Dorthy Pasley Baber Crowe. She was a retired hairdresser, working at Dot Rich-e-ton Beauty Salon. Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her daughter Holly Neal Estes, and her brother Toby Baber. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Chilton Neal; two sons Phillip R. (Teresa) Neal & Curt ( Rhonda) Neal; a brother Ritchie (Michelle) Crowe; her grandchildren Chris (Angie) Estes, Brinton (Courtney) Estes, Phillip R. Neal Jr., Mandy Neal, and Maggie Neal; her great-grandchildren Haley Neal, Hollie Neal, Benjamin Neal, Brayden Estes, Peyton Estes, Austyn Estes, and Waylon Thomas Estes; her nieces and nephews Kendell, Shawn, Trina, Nakoa several great nieces and nephews also survive. Services will be held Friday May 4th, 2:00 PM, at the Lewis Funeral Home with Kirt Scott and Micah Mead officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
