Carolyn Ann Adams, age 66, passed away on February 25, 2026, at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born to the late David Jennings Adams and Judith Adams.

Carolyn loved her family, friends, and especially her beloved grandchildren more than anything. She cherished her dogs and all her critters, and she was a devoted fan who enjoyed cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel and Chester Finney; and two sisters, Lisa Beth Glasson and Sherry Lynn Adams.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Amanda Adams of Georgetown, Kentucky; her son, Matthew Adams of Irvine; and her brother, Mark (Michelle) Adams of Florida. She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren whom she dearly loved: Dylan Adams, Aaden Mullins, Parker Adams, Allison Adams, and Ava Adams. She is also survived by two aunts, Lola Finney of Estill County and Marilyn Bryant of Georgia; one uncle, Robert (Kathy) Finney of Dayton, Ohio; and a very special aunt, Debbie (Donald) Jordan of Estill County. Carolyn also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends who will deeply miss her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and continuing until the time of service at Lewis Funeral Home. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Ronald Lutes, will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
