Carolyn Lynn Anglin, age 64, of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Baptist Health Richmond. She was born on Tuesday, May 15, 1962, in Madison County, Kentucky, to the late Frank Anglin and Carrie Anglin.

Carolyn was a devoted homemaker with a kind and beautiful soul. She was a hardworking woman who found great joy in helping others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her sweet and caring nature touched the lives of many, and she especially loved making others smile and laugh. Carolyn will be remembered for the happiness she brought to those around her and the love she so freely shared with her family and friends.

Carolyn was a woman of the Holiness faith, and her faith remained an important part of her life.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Anglin Jr., Donald Anglin, and Ronald Anglin; and one sister, Wanda Anglin.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica Johnson of Jackson County, Kentucky; one son, Ricky Johnson Jr. of Jackson County, Kentucky;and a devoted friend Michael Humphery, eight grandchildren, Josh Cardwell, Chastity Cardwell, Richard Cardwell Jr., James Scott, Keyana Adams, Patience Adams, Tarra Johnson, and Skylar Johnson; and three great-grandchildren, Aleah Cardwell, Eli Cardwell, and Ja’vayah Johnson. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a very special place in her heart and were truly the light of her life. She loved them dearly and treasured every moment spent with them.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pilot Knob Cemetery in Berea, Kentucky. Lee Adams, Josh Cardwell, Ricky Johnson Jr., Nelson Anglin, and Houston Anglin will serve as active pallbearers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine.
