Cegal Harrison,92, husband of Barbara Wyatt Harrison, passed away Wednesday July 17th, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. Mr. Harrison was a native of Clark County, a son of the late Vannie and Julia Stevens Harrison. Mr. Harrison was retired from the Toledo Mental Health Center, he was a supervisor with Shakelee Corporation for 25 years, and was a boilermaker with the C&O railroad in Lexington . Mr. Harrison was a member, deacon and minister at the 1st Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of the Unity Freewill Baptist. Mr. Harrison was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his previous wife Ruby, his brothers Roy, and Weldon "Jr."; and his sister Lillian Withers. Survivors other than his wife of 16 years Barbara include his brothers Forest, and Wayne, and a several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Sunday, July 21st, 2:00 PM at Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Martin McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in the West Irvine Cemetery, with Military Honors.
