Charles "Chuck" Edward Roberts, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Irvine, Kentucky on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Charles was born on January 11, 1943, in Berea, Kentucky to the late Charles Scott and Lydia (Johnson) Roberts.

After residing in Berea and Franklin, Ohio, Charles moved to Deland, Florida in the early 70's. He owned and operated Amoco Service Stations, a towing business, and restored classic cars. He retired to Irvine, Kentucky in 1996 and owned and operated a hardware and feed store before returning to his passion of restoring classic cars.

Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Roberts, a daughter, Tonya Rae Case, two brothers, William Harrison Roberts and Harold Clifford Roberts, four sisters, Jossie Marie Elam, Margrett Sue Delph, Sandra Doris Shorewood and Porta Rowland.

Charles is survived by his loving wife Diane (Monteleone) Roberts, of Irvine, two sons, Frank Roberts, Deland, Fla., and Ryan (Billie) Roberts of Irvine. Two brothers, Danny Ray Roberts and Randal Scott (Virginia) Roberts, both of Franklin, OH., one sister, Joyce Ann (Lewis) Raby, of Franklin, OH., two grandsons, Rhett Roberts and Lane Roberts. Four granddaughters, Hayley (Ken) Riley, Amanda (Jon) Menegay, Cheyenne Roberts and Holley Roberts, three great-grandchildren, Hunter Menegay, Jordyn Menegay, and Rae Lynn Menegay.

Memorial services for Charles "Chuck" Edward Roberts will be held at the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. The family will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M until the time of service.
