Cheryl Mansfield
Arvin
Jun 14, 1960 — Jun 27, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our precious Cheryl Yvette Mansfield-Arvin, who left this world on June 27, 2026. The sun shined a little brighter in Irvine, Kentucky on June 14, 1960, the day she was born to the late Lester & Ida Mae Rader Mansfield. Cheryl was lovingly referred to as the baby of the family, the youngest of 10 children. She lived a life of love, quiet strength, generosity and kindness. Cheryl was a 1978 graduate of Estill County High School and in 2006 she earned an Associate of Science from National College of Business & Technology. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Daughter. She was a talented writer, an excellent cook and was everything to her family. Cheryl was a beautiful soul, who was resilient, giving, kind and funny. She had an unforgettable laugh and spirit. Her best times were spent with family & friends. She loved them and her Church family dearly. She loved the Lord & was a member of Ravenna Church of God.
She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Nivra Lainhart & Son-In-Law Derek. Her Grandson, Donovan Lainhart (Lexi). Four sisters: Phyllis Adair (Johnny), Von Joy Norris (Tom), Deborah Colleen Thomas (Randall) & Vydra Kirby (Jerry). Two brothers: Anthony Mansfield, Dolphus Mansfield and many special Nieces, Nephews & friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers: Darrell Cox, Dwight Mansfield & Dexter Mansfield, two sister-in-laws: Sandra Cox and Kathy Mansfield, two nephews: Colin Thomas & Brian Kennington and her ex-husband, Bobby Jack Arvin. Cheryl’s light & love will live on through the lives she touched. Through selfless acts of kindness, a blooming rose, sunbeams through the clouds and laughter. We celebrate the incredible woman she was & will not say goodbye, because in her very own words, we will “see you later.”
