Claude Case Jr., 86, husband of Ailene Smith Case, passed away Thursday, September 3rd, 2015 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, surrounded by his family. Mr. Case was a native of Estill County, a son of the late Claude and Ella Stamper Case. He was a retired employee of Bundy Tubing, and member of the Cobb Hill Crossroads Community Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar, baseball, bird and animal watching, and reading his bible daily. Mr. Case was preceded in death by his brother Truman Case; his sisters Audrey and Ovella Case. Survivors other than his wife of 67 years Ailene, include his daughters Ava Jewell (and husband Raven) Rogers, Debbie (and husband Elwood) Patrick, Connie Sue Case, Vonda (and husband Ralph) Dunn; his sons Johnny (and wife Missy) Case, and Gary Edward (and wife Jean) Case; his brothers Glen (and wife Dorothy) Case, Willie (and wife Bernice) Case, and Dennis (and wife Kay) Case; sisters Janice (and husband Randall) Burton, and Frances (and husband Tom) Hall; his grandchildren David Rogers, Chris Rogers, Melissa Henning, Woody Patrick, Eric Patrick, Casey Kirby, Darla Dunn, and Chandra Dunn; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Sunday, September 6th, 2015, 2:00 pm at the Cobb Hill Crossroads Community Church with Bros. Elwood Patrick, Gainus Rogers, and Larry Frymyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 pm Saturday, September 5th, at Cobb Hill Crossroads Community Church, and Sunday from 1:00 pm until service time. Pallbearers will be David Rogers, Chris Rogers, Woody Patrick, Eric Patrick, Gary Case, and Ralph Dunn. Service: 2 pm Sunday, Sept 6th.
