Daniel Robert Birchfield, 72, husband of Deloris Birchfield, passed away May 13th, 2016. Born in Richmond in 1944, he was the son of the late Gardner Birchfield Jr. and the late Minnie McIntosh Traylor. He was a member of the American Legion VFW and the First Baptist Church of Irvine and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and a brother, David Birchfield. He is survived by his sister, Donna Birchfield Cox; his children Trency (Jeff) Jones, Ramee Birchfield, Melissa Malicote, Ryan (Tammy) Birchfield; stepchildren Josh and Amber Fore Birchfield; 9 grandchildren, R.B. Browning, Logan Browning, Samantha Jones, Shevi Jones, Chayce Birchfield, Jaggar Malicote, Michael Taylor, Riley Birchfield and Leslie Owens; 9 great granchildren; 6 nieces and nephews; and ex-wife, Linda Williams Grens. Memorial services will be held at Lewis Funeral Home on Friday, May 27th at 7:30 PM. Friends may call anytime after 6 PM.
