Darrell Cox, 72, widower of Sandra, passed away Monday, June 26th at Madison Health and Rehab Center. A son of the late Charles Cox and Ida Mae Raider Mansfield, he was a Mason and a Shriner. Darrell was preceded in death by his brother, Dexter Mansfield. Mr. Cox is survived by his mother, Ida Mae Mansfield; daughters, Tammy (Randy) Tipton, Trina (Scott) Reffett, and Kristy (Tim) Tackett; grandsons, Christopher Ray Tipton, Stephen Kyle Conrad, Casey Shawn Tipton, Cody Austin Means, Jacob Tyler Conrad, and Caleb Aaron Means; great grandchildren, Aaliyah Nichole Tipton, Catarina Marie Hurt, Camden Shawn Tipton, Madyson Rayne Conrad, and Madalynn Lee; sisters, Phyllis (Johnny) Adair, Vydra (Jerry) Kirby, Coleen (Randall) Thomas, Von Joy (Tom) Norris, Cheryl Arvin, and Sheena Wilms; brothers, Dwight (Rhonda) Mansfield, Anthony Mansfield, Dolphus (Kathy) Mansfield, Homer (Gail) Cox, David Cox, and Timothy Cox. Services will be held on Thursday, June 29th at 6PM at Lewis-Abner Home for Funerals. Friends may call anytime after 3PM. Serving as pallbearers will be Mr. Cox's grandsons.
