Della Akeman Harrison, 84, widow of Johnny Harrison, passed away Monday, March 24th in Edgewood, Kentucky. Mrs. Harrison was a native of Hazard, KY, a daughter of the late Sam and Callie Deaton Akeman. She was a homemaker, a member of the Pentecostal faith, loved sewing, quilting, and fishing. Survivors include her sons Gary, Larry, Ricky (Brate) and Dwayne (Shondra) Harrison; her daughters Faith (Gary) Ball, and Susan Harrison; her brothers John and Luther Akeman; her sisters Doris Jean Sebastian and Edith Akeman; grandchildren Lynn Harrison, Denise Harrison, Johnny Harrison, Tosha Hughes, Gary Harrison, Marsha Harrison, Saundra Campbell, Lonnie Campbell, jr., Felicia Harrison, Sidney Harrison, Sierra Harrison, Vanessa Harrison, and Zackary Harrison; 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, March 29th, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Lonnie Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunaway Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 am Saturday until service time. Pallbearers will be Rick Harrison, Dwayne Harrison, Lonnie Campbell, Gary Harrison, Shawn Harrison, Zackary Harrison, Chance Stevens, and Tyler Stevens.
