Delma Estes Ramsey, 98, widow of Lester Ramsey, of Richmond, formerly of Irvine, passed away Friday at the Compassionate Care Center. Mrs. Ramsey was a native of Estill County, a daughter of the late Harlan and Julia Gordan Estes. Mrs. was Ramsey was retired from Miami University, in Oxford Ohio, where she worked in the housekeeping department. She was a member of the Station Camp Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her sisters Cleona Babb, Rose Alma Murphy, and Anna Mae Sams. Survivors include her sister Laura Coffey, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held Monday, December 16th, 2013, 11:00 am at the Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 5:00 pm Sunday. Pallbearers will be Tommy Willis, Bruce Coffey, Denny Coffey, Dustin Shanks, Brian Shanks, and Donnie Kindred.
