Denville Charles Harrison, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, following a short illness.
He was born on February 7, 1939, to the late Henry Harrison and Eva Henry Harrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Mae Wiseman Harrison; one brother, Herman Harrison; two sisters, Christine Baker and Audrey Dunaway; and one grandchild, Dillon Wayne Egner.
He is survived by three children, Danette Harrison, Charles Glenn Harrison, and Timothy Gene Harrison; one brother, Vincent Harrison (Lucille); six grandchildren, Lashanda Harrison Hellen (Josh), Paul Snowden, Felicia Snowden Poor (Cody), April Harrison, Ashley Nicole Harrison Salyer (Peyton), and Blake Harrison (Katie); and ten great-grandchildren, Chandler Snowden, Cade Snowden, Erin Poor, Paisley Denney, Eiven Denney, Andie Hellen, Cade Willis III, Neila Willis, Magnolia Salyer, and William Salyer.
Denville was a longtime employee of Avon and also proudly served his community for many years as an EMT with the Estill County Ambulance Service. He enjoyed playing bingo, watching University of Kentucky basketball, attending races in Richmond and Clay City, and listening to the Grand Ole Opry. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family.
He was a loving father and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May God grant him the peace he so richly deserves.
There will be no services held at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine.
