Donald Wayne Harney, age 79 of Irvine, Kentucky passed away at his home after a long illness on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

Donald was a member of the Beattyville Kentucky Masonic Torrent Lodge #711 Beattyville, Ky.

Donald was born on December 27, 1945, in Richmond, Kentucky to the late George Walter and Amanda Durbin Harney.

Along with his parents Donald was also preceded in death by brothers Otis Hatton, Samuel Hatton and James Harney.

Donald is survived by his wife Kathleen, children Jeanie Swain (Clark), Thomas Harney (Molly), Martina Rae Gunter, Donnie Harney (Christi), stepchildren Kevin Archibald (Lori), Kristina Farmer (Bill) and Robert Archibald., brothers Tom Harney (Donna) and Walter Harney. Grandchildren Charles Seward, Conlan Seward, Camden Gunther, Jake Swain, Josh Swain, Amber Swain, Kaylee Phelps, Josie Weddle, Ashley Archibald, Lauren Farmer, Kadence Harney, Emmy Harney, Breaden Archibald, Keaton Archibald, Kaden Archibald, Kaleb Archibald, Liam Archibald, Angel Harney, and Ace Harney, Great Grandchildren, Caidence Swain, Aiden Swain, Clark Swain, Chloe Swain, Ethen Swain, Cid Swain, Nora Phelps and Sophie Phelps and one new Great Grand Baby who live in Vietnam.
