Doug Hall, 89, widower of Mildred Adams Hall, of 5th St. Ravenna, passed away Wednesday, October 3rd at his home. He was the son of the late Beddie Grindstead Hall and the late Mary Noland Hall. Mr. Hall was a native of Estill County, a retired railroad employee, and a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Adams Hall, and his son Michael Hall. Survivors include his granddaughter Dr. Emily J. McNair and husband Winton C. "Tad" McNair; his great-grandchildren Lillian Ashleigh McNair, Winton Cope McNair IV, and Michael Carson McNair; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews. Services will be held Tuesday, October 9th, 2012, 2:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, with his nephew Tim Hall officiating. Friends may call after 1:00 PM Tuesday until service time, with a private interment service to be held later.
