Earl Wayne McVey, 61, of Ravenna, passed away Sunday, November 20th at the Marcum Wallace Hospital after an illness. A native of Clark County, he was a son of the late Harold McVey and Elsie Winburn Brown. He was a member of the Gum Springs Church of God in Estill County and Ark of Mercy in Clark County; he enjoyed NFL football, working, and playing card games and solitaire. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda McVey and two brothers, Steve and Harold McVey, Jr. Survivors include his daughters, Tina (Jeff) Case and Lora (Patrick Harrison) Ritchie; sons, Robert (Leann) Haggard, Marcus Haggard and Earl Wayne McVey, Jr.; brother, Robert (Sherry) McVey; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday, November 26th at 12 PM at the Lewis-Abner Home for Funerals with Bro. James McIntosh officiating. Friends may call anytime after 11 am.
