Elizabeth Lee Cecil Fore, 89, widow of Linus D. Fore, passed away Wednesday, February 6th, 2013. Mrs. Fore was a native of Lee county, a homemaker, and a partner in Fore's Auto Supply.. She was a member of the Estill County Homemakers Club, the Ladies Ministry, and the Ravenna Church of God. She was born August 9th, 1923, a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Dorothy Venable Cecil. Mrs. Fore was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Ann Pryce, Nell Durbin, Eugene Cecil, Homer Cecil, Mabel Durbin; her brother-in-law Clement Fore; and her great-grandchild Lillian Elizabeth Fore. Survivors include her sons Blayne (Rita) Fore and Steve Fore; her grandchildren Jonathan Fore and Michael (Marie) Fore; her step-grandson Jerry Lynn Parsons Jr; two great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; special caregivers at Hospice Care Plus. Services will be held Friday, February 8th, 2:00 PM at the Ravenna Church of God. Lindsey Cornett, Willie Gordon, and Tony White officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call anytime after 6:00 PM Thursday at the Lewis Funeral Home, and from 1:00 PM until service time Friday at the Ravenna Church of God. Pallbearers will be Phillip Walton, Jimmy Walton, Eddie Walton, Joe Durham, Richard Snowden, and Darrell Johnson. Honorary pallbearer will be Bro. James Moses.
