Etta Clay Moberley Hamilton, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Baptist Regional Hospital in Richmond, Kentucky.

Etta was born in Irvine, Kentucky on June 20, 1927, to the late Claude B. and Mattie Clay Scrivner Moberley Sr. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Irvine United Methodist Church. Etta was a homemaker, beautician, and the co-owner of Winns Cleaners.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Ray Hamilton. 2 brothers, C.B. and Glen Moberley. 2 sisters, Margie Moberley Parke and Madge Moberley. As well as 2 sons-in-law, Wayne Best and Dr. Raymond B. Otero.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Susan Hamilton Best and Cynthia Hamilton. 1 granddaughter, Grace Falconer Gaglione and husband Mike. 3 great grandchildren, Sophia and Isabella Bacchi and Logan Gaglione. As well as numerous nieces and nephews and relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Etta Clay Moberley Hamilton will be conducted on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. graveside at Richmond Memorial Gardens. Irene Hatton will be officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony, Jeff, and Tim Wiseman.
