Eva Lee "Mollie" Woosley Witt, 97, widow of Alton Witt, passed away Monday, after a long illness. Mrs. Witt was a native of Powell County, a daughter of the late John Henry and Lou Finney Woosley. Mrs. Witt was a retired employee of the Carhart Company and of Cow Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Witt was preceded in death by her husband Alton; a son Russell Lynn Witt; sisters Marie Conder, Flora Woosley Wolfinbarger, and Eudell Woosley; and a brother Wesley Woosley. Survivors include her sons Chester Sidney Witt, and Barry Tony Witt; her sister Bethel Robinson; her brothers Tracey Woosley, James Edward Woosley, and John Calvin Woosley; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, March 21st, Lewis Funeral Home, at 1:00 PM, with Bro. Glendon Woosley officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Garden.
