Everett Smith Jr. age 82, of Irvine, Kentucky passed away at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Everett was born September 5, 1942 to the late Everett and Sally Couch Smith in Hazard, Kentucky.

Survivors include his partner Mary Kirby, three sons; James R. (Barbara) Smith, Charles W. Smith and Richard L. Smith. One granddaughter; Hannah Elizabeth Smith. One sister Mary Ellen Smith, a brother-in-law; Bill Blankenship, and one sister-in-law; Norma Dobson.

The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
