Grace Edna Sheffer, age 98, of Irvine, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Compassionate Care Hospice Center in Richmond, Kentucky.

Grace was born on August 18, 1926, in Lola, Kentucky to the late Howard Otto Black and Mollie Belt Black.

She was a member of the First Christian Church on main street in Irvine, Kentucky.

Along with her parents, Grace is also preceded in death by her husband Phillip Sheffer, a sister Margaret Curnel and two brothers Quentin Black and Charles Black, a son-in-law Abraham Lewis and a grandson Rodney Barnes.

Grace is survived by a daughter Judy Lewis, a son Robert Walker and wife Barbara, grandchildren Melissa Barnes, Chris Lewis and wife Lorri, and Jennifer Lawson and husband Derek, great grandchildren Erin Brooks and husband Matthew , Cierra Robertson and husband Quintin, Molly Holmberg and husband Henry, Jack Lewis, Megan Weldy and Rachel Weldy, great great grandchildren Emilia Brooks, Preston and Evelyn Robertson, a brother Mike Black and wife Mary Nell., along with many other family and friends to miss and mourn her passing.

A grave side service for Grace Edna Sheffer will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 3:00 P.M at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother Matt Higle will be officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Brooks, Quintin Robertson, Rodney Barnes Sr., John Duvall, Chris Lewis and Joedy Ohr.
