Guston "Gus" Willis, 90, widower of Mary Jones Willis, died Monday, after a long illness. He was a native of Estill County, a son of the late Curtis and Bertha Rogers Willis. He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Redlick Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by a son Bobby Willis, and a daughter Ruth Abney; four grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his daughters, Betty Jean Hisle, Eva Mae (and husband James) Walling, Mary (and husband Raymond) Carroll, Marsha Baker, Wanda Fowler, Martha Sue (and husband Mike) Riddell, and Joy Abney; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his brother Rufford (and wife Myrtle) Willis; his sisters Mamie Johnson, and Tressie Powell. Services will be held Thursday, October 23rd, at 12:00 pm, Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Madison Memorial Gardens.
