Hearl Harris, 90, husband of Kelcie Ross Harris, passed away Monday, October 10th, 2016 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Mr. Harris was a native of Estill County, a son of the late Arnold and Perlie Isaacs Harris. Mr. Harris owned and operated a water hauling business in Estill County for many years, and was a former magistrate. He was a member of the Crooked Creek Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ernest, Earl, and Glenn Harris; and his sister Evelyn Stevens.
Survivors other than his wife Kelcie include his daughters Joyce (and husband Randall) Christopher and Penny (and husband Gary) Partin; his brothers Hargus (and wife Helen) Harris, Troy (and wife Cleta) Harris, Leonard (and wife Hallie B.) Harris; his sister Opal (and husband Stan) Fox, Ora Lee (and husband Harold) Isaacs, and Kathy Harris; his grandchildren Kyle Christopher, Blake Christopher, Sonya Bajer, Jay Tomlinson and Craig Tomlinson.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 12th, at Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Leo Crowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call anytime after 11:00 am Wednesday until service time.
Pallbearers will be Robert Smith, John Isfort, Blake Christopher, Kyle Christopher, Gary Partin, and Randall Christopher.
