Ina Jean Collins, age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at her residence in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. She was born on March 12, 1938, in Estill County, Kentucky, to the late Henry Hall and the late Dorthy Burns. She was a devoted member of Somerset Christian Church.
Ina was a strong and devoted mother who raised four sons on her own. She was a loving and caring woman who truly enjoyed life and the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sid Collins; two sisters, Beulah Jones and Pauline Clem; and two brothers, Morris Hall and Hershel Hall.
She leaves to cherish her memory her four loving sons: Eric Rice (Stacy Warner), Randall Rice (Wanda), and Ernie King (Angela), all of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, and Raymond Rice (Lora Dee) of Paris, Kentucky; one sister, Marie Alexander; and one brother, Clarence Hall, both of Mount Sterling, Kentucky. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and four great-great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind her special caregiver, Stacy Warner.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 1:00pm until 3:00 PM at Lewis Funeral Home. Funeral services, officiated by Carl Wagoner, will be conducted at 3:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Warner Cemetery with Eric Rice, Ean King, Evan King, Austin Rice, Isaiah Curran, and Brian Randall serving as active pallbearers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine.
