James Daniel "Danny" Parsons, 63, husband of Cathy, passed away Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, after a long illness. Danny was a native of Estill county, a son of the late Leonard and Ruby Sparks Parsons. danny had been a plumber his entire life. He loved playing Country Music for the Peacemakers, VFW, and American Legion. Survivors other than his wife Cathy include his daughters Danisha Parsons, Stacy (and husband Bryan) Hall; his son Brian Parsons; his sister Sandra (and husband Darrel) Cox; his grandchildren Logan Hall, Kaitlyn Hall, Shaelyn Parsons, Andrew Chaney, and Ashley Darbyshire; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 1st 2015 at 11:00 am at the Easter Valley Church, with Bro. Mike Davis officiating.
