James A. Dickerson, 78, husband of the late Lela Joyce "Jane" Lynch of 32 years, passed away Friday. Mr. Dickerson was a native of Estill County, one of eleven children of the late Roy and Alphie Bailey Dickerson. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Dickerson was preceded in death by his beloved children Ruth Ann and Travis Mitchell. He is survived by his five girls Ruby (Kenneth) Butler, Aileen (John D.) Wilcox, Mary Jane (Mike) Hensley, Betty Gail Dickerson, and Debbie Sue Dickerson Pryor; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Graveside services will held Monday, July 29th at the Lynch/Dickerson Family Cemetery in Cobb Hill with Bro. Barnett officiating. Friends are invited to meet at Lewis Funeral Home at 2:00 PM and travel in procession to cemetery. Memorials may be made by doing a kind deed for someone in need.
