James Edward Kiser, 82, husband of Patricia Clevenger Kiser, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016. He was born in Carter City, Kentucky to the late Frank Kiser and Ruth Fuller on June 16, 1934. Mr. Kiser was an educator, army veteran, and a deacon of the First Christian Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, James Edward Kiser, Jr., Randall Jay Kiser (Stacey), and Brian Scott Kiser (Wendy), his sister Joy Brock, thirteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved to play golf with his "buddies". A funeral service will be forgone, due to his anatomical gift to the University of Louisville medicine. There will be a gathering of friends to celebrate his life on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the First Christian Church from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
