Janice Mae Tuttle McKinney, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Stanton Nursing Home. She was born in Estill County to the late Dovie Tuttle and Bergin Tuttle.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by one son, James Profitt, Jr.; one daughter, Crystal Hall; one brother, John Franklin Tuttle; and three sisters, Bertha Ann Tuttle, Suette Morguson, and Brenda Wolfinbarger.

She is survived by her loving daughter, April (Brian) Profitt of Lexington, Kentucky; one brother, Bergin (Gladys) Tuttle, Jr.; and four sisters, Mary Joyce Karvosky, Arleen Hall, Linda (Johnny) Palmer, and Elizabeth Townsend, all of Irvine, Kentucky.

Janice also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Barry (Kylie) Baskin, Tyler Hall, Lashay Hall, Devon (Michael) Madison, Samuel Madison, and Benjamin Madison; along with one beloved great-grandson, Jaivion Lickliter, whom she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Wood Cemetery in Irvine.

Pallbearers will be Sam Madison, Tyler Hall, Randy Shumate, Woody Patrick, Raymond Brooks, and Brian Lickliter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine.
