Jennings Adams, 77, husband of Judith Finney Adams, passed away Sunday July 8th, at St. Joseph Hospital, after a short illness. He was a son of David Garrett Adams and Nannie Bet Richardson Adams. He was a native of Estill County, and lived there his entire life. He was an employee of Estill Dairy, before retiring from Bundy Tubing in Winchester, KY after 37 years, he also farmed his entire life. He was preceded in death by daughters Sherry Lynn Adams, and Lisa Beth Adams Glasson; his sisters Pauline Adams Huff, Lorena Adams, Ima Jean Adams . He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judith Finney Adams; four children Carolyn Ann Adams, Mark Anthony (Michelle) Adams, Amanda Lynn Adams, Matthew Lewis (Ashley)Adams; eight grandchildren David, Katie, Andrew, Robbie Gene, Jon, Dylan, Aaden, and Allison; four great-grandchildren Shelby, Brianna, Makenna and Huntlee; his sister Zelma Lee Adams Hall; a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday 2:00 PM, at the Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Todd St. John officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuttle-Wiseman Cemetery. Friends may call any time after 5:00 PM Wednesday. Pallbearers will be David Adams, Matthew Adams, Andrew Adams, Harold Hall, Roger Hall, Robbie Gene Glasson, Jon Adams, Rodney Hall.
