Jerry Lynn "Round Daddy" Parsons, age 75, of Irvine, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital in Irvine, Kentucky.

Jerry was born on March 23, 1949, in Winchester, Kentucky to the late Vernon and Eula Flynn Thompson Parsons. In addition to his parents Jerry is also preceded in death by his stepmother, Wilma Jo Cooper Parsons, 2 daughters, Vernonda Lynn Parsons and Vanessa Hale, along with 1 brother, Darrell Parsons.

Mr. Parsons attended White Oak Baptist Church. He was the former jailer of Estill County, an active NRA Member and Member of the Kentucky Jailers Association.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Donna Gail Frazier Parsons, 1 daughter, Veronica Burns and husband Nathan, 2 sons, Shaun Hale and wife Kim, and Jerry Parsons Jr. 10 grandchildren, Kayla, Nick and Erika Burns, Mia, Miles, Ashton, Ava and Harper Hale, Reese Johnson and Jerah Parsons.1 brother, Bobby Parsons and wife Linda, 1 step brother, Jeff Cooper. And 5 sisters, Brenda Parsons Mays, Ravella Lawson and Randy, Ramona Parsons, Amy Parsons, and Lisa Cooper along with numerous nieces and nephews and relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Jerry Lynn "Round Daddy" Parsons will be conducted on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the White Oak Church of God. Brother Larry Neal and Brother Glyndon Woosley will be officiating. Interment will follow in the White Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Lewis Home for Funerals.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ashton and Shaun Hale, Justin Tipton, Jason Frazier, and Nathan Burns.
