Jesse Douglas Rice, age 53, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, March 20, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Rice was born on April 4, 1969, in Richmond, Kentucky to the late Wendell Dale Rice Sr. and Delphia Lucille Issacs Rice.

In addition to his father, Mr. Rice is also preceded in death by a son, Casey Jones, a brother, Edwin C. Fowler and a niece, Wendy Elizabeth Rice.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Loretta Jones Rice, His mother, Delphia Lucille Issacs Rice, his son, Wendell Andrew Rice and wife Lindsay, a brother, Wendell Dale Rice Jr. and wife Vanessa, and one sister, Bobbie Rice, three grandchildren, Carter Rice, and Shandrea and Shandre Jones along with several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Lewis Home for Funerals. No formal services will be held as the family has chosen cremation afterwards.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to his memorial fund.
