Joseph “Jody”  Wayne Young, age 45, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Marcum & Wallace Hospital in Irvine, Kentucky.

Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved father, Ellis Wayne Young.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Theresa Young (Ricky Tipton) of Stanton, Kentucky; his sister, Brittany Young of Stanton, Kentucky; his niece, Desiree Balbnick of Estill County; his nephew, Dalton Young of Stanton, Kentucky; and several aunts and uncles whom he loved dearly.

Joseph was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. Those who knew him will remember him for the love he shared with his family and the special place he held in the hearts of those around him. His presence brought meaning and memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Though his passing leaves a deep emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will live on through the people whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of his family and friends.

A private funeral service will be held.
