Kimberly (Mimi) Gail Strong, age 42, of Irvine, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, May 20th, 2023, at her home in Irvine, Kentucky.

Miss. Strong was born February 25th, 1981, in Richmond, Kentucky to James and Edna Strong (Irvine, KY). Kimberly was raised in Estill County where she lived all her life. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

Kimberly is preceded in death by both of her maternal grandparents Bruce and Beverly Watson and her paternal grandfather Jesse Strong.

Along with her parents Kimberly is survived by her sister: Jamie (Billy) Davidson, (Irvine) Her paternal grandmother Helen Strong (McKee). Three children: one son: Joshua Adkins (Berea), two daughters: Amber Adkins (New Jersey) and Breanna Smith (Irvine). One niece: Jadyn Davidson (Irvine), one nephew: Billy Davidson Jr. (Irvine). Her life partner: Douglas Brandenburg (Irvine), two step- children Lannie Brandenburg and Sylvia Brandenburg both of Irvine. Kimberly also had several aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with many friends to miss her and mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Kimberly Gail Strong will be conducted Wednesday May 24th, at 1 P.M in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Matthew Riddell will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Strong Family Cemetery in Irvine. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May the 23rd, from 6 till 9P.M at Lewis Home for Funerals.

Pallbearers are Billy Davidson, Doug Brandenburg, Lannie Brandenburg, James Pearson, Chris Kerby, and Mark Webster.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jadyn Davidson, Billy Davidson Jr., Aaron Epperson and Wayne Edmonson.
