Linda Carol Augustine departed this life on Monday, December 30, 2024, at her home in Irvine, Kentucky.

Linda was born on February 12, 1944, in Greensboro, North Carolina to the late Paul Eugene and Madeline Inez Holder Smith.

Linda was a legal secretary for many years. She loved to decorate her home and loved to be outdoors working in the yard with her flowers. Linda loved animals of all kinds, and they loved her, she volunteered with the Ladies Auxiliary at the hospital in Irvine. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores and yard sales.

Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Augustine of Waco, Kentucky.

Survivors include, one sister, Pattie Mead and brother-in-law, Stanley Mead of Westminster Maryland, one brother, Larry Smith of Florida, two nieces, Anna Puckett of Irvine, Kentucky, Lari Craig and husband, Jason Craig of Westminster, Maryland. One nephew, David Mead and wife Marci Mead of Oahu, Hawaii. A great niece and three great nephews Alyssa, Jason, Jr., Isaac and Caleb of Westminster, Maryland.

A memorial service for Linda Carol Augustine will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Pastor Joe Hall will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00A.M until the time of service.
