Lula Roberts Rose,81, widow of Don Carl Rose, passed away March 11th at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Mrs. Rose was a native of Clay County Ky, a daughter of the late William and Alice Henson Roberts. She was preceded in death by a daughter Thelma Hurst; a sister Nora Roberts; and a brother Dewey Roberts. Survivors include her sons Paul (Sue) Hughes of Irvine, Frank (Debra) Hughes of Meridian Mississippi, Larry Dale (Becky) Hughes of Meridian Mississippi, William Walter (Kathe) Hughes of Hamilton, OH; a daughter Doris Gail (Terry) Fomas of Paris, KY; seventeen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive. Services will be held Thursday March 14th at 1:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home with Bill Denk, Scott Farrington, and Loren Spellman officiating. Burial will follow in the Amos Richardson Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 6:00 PM Wed. March 13th. Pallbearers will be Edward Hughes, Randy Combs, Roy Ray, John McMain, Andrew Taylor and Bennie Cox.
