Obituary of Lula B. Sewell Lula B. Sewell, age 85, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Irvine, Kentucky. Lula was born on February 21, 1938, in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Lemon and Callie Horn Estes. In addition to her parents, Ms. Sewell was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Douglas Sewell, 2 brothers, Charles and Jr Estes, 2 sisters, Lois and Anna Walters, and 1 Great Grandson, Cameron. Survivors include her 3 daughters, Paula Norris and Larry, Marcia Lane and Chris, and Lorna Lunsford and Wayne, 4 grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Chealsea, and Kim. 7 great grandchildren, Cambria, Jacob, Julia, Magnolia, Bradyn, Desirae, and Ashton, 2 great-great grandchildren, Hallie and Natalie, bonus grand and great grandchildren who loved her like there own. 2 Brothers, Paul and Bobby Estes, 2 sisters, Emma Dennis and Carrie Sewell, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing. Funeral services for Lula B. Sewell will be conducted on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Linville Dunaway will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielders Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until the time of services at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at Lewis Home for Funerals. The pallbearers will be Kyle, Kory, and Joseph Estes, Billy and Tommy Walters, and Danny Sewell. Lewis Home for Funerals is honored to serve the family of Lula B. Sewell.
