Obituary

Marilyn (Warren) Warner went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born on May 5, 1954, in Hamilton, Ohio to Daisie Lee (Farthing) Sparks and Johnny Briscoe Warren.

She was a nurse for 38 years and loved her coworkers and her patients. She always wore her heart on her sleeve and had a special knack for making those around her, who are hurting, feel better. She loved her family and was a cherished Mother, Nanny, and GG. She was baptized at River Drive Christian Church at the age of 12.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Richard Thomas Sparks, her sister Johnetta Warren, her beloved son Harold Wayne Warner Jr. (Bub) and precious grandson Jonathan Alejandro Warner.

She is survived by, and greatly missed, by her two daughters, Mary Lee (Warner) Carrizales of Irvine, KY and Rebecca Kay Warner of Mt. Sterling, KY. Grandchildren Monica Renee Hall, Brandi Danielle (Adam) Puckett, Heather Leanne (Lane) Holbrook, Bethany Dominique Warner, Valerie Warner, Elizabeth Shay Warner, and Abigayle Lou Warner. Great-grandchildren Alyson Brooke, Maia Aurora, Gracelynn Paige, Raeleigh Jo, Bailee Rose, Michael, Jed, and Nevaeh. Two siblings, her sister Kathy Sue (Warren) Bowman of Lebanon, Ohio and her brother Johnny Dean Warren of Hamilton, Ohio. Many cousins and nieces.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Hospice East for their extraordinary care during this difficult time.

Pallbearers include John Peel, Adam Puckett, Faustino Lopez, Michael Puckett, Jed Puckett, and Josh Holliman.

The family will receive friends at Lewis Home for Funerals, in Irvine, Ky on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 12:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Walton Cemetery where Pastor Ricky Kirby will be officiating the graveside service.
