Irvine:Mary Jo Combs, 61, wife of Joby Combs, passed away Monday, at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Combs was a native of Hamilton OH, a daughter of the late Boyd and Edith Geneva Young Plowman. She was a Paraeducator for the Estill County Board of Education. She was member, and former president of the American Legion Post #79 Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors other than her husband of 14 years, Joby Combs, include her children Derrick Ryan Napier & Deidre Reeves; her brothers Ray Snowden, Tracy Snowden, Jackie Plowman, and Leonard Snowden; her sisters Sandy McIntosh, and Lisa Plowman; her grandchildren Dylan Abney and Elijah Napier. Services will be held Thursday, May 7th, 2015, 2:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Humpert officiating. Burial will follow in the Larrison Cemetery.
