Myrtle White Turpin, 94, widow of Shirley, passed away February 22nd, in Sierra Vista AZ, after a long illness. Mrs. White was a native of Estill County, a retired employee of Carhartt and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Pleas and Lily Richardson White. She was preceded in death by her siblings Hubert White, Ethyl Crowe, Hazel White, and Bertha Nelson. Survivors include her son Tom (and wife Pauline) Turpin; her brother Vernon (and wife Grace) White; her grandsons Steven Turpin, James Turpin, and Jeffrey Turpin; her grandchildren Sydney Turpin, Blake Turpin, Chandler Turpin, Kendal Turpin, Cole Turpin, Niklas Turpin, and Amanda Turpin. Services will be held Wednesday, March 5th, 2:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home, with Bro. Scott Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
