Raymond Lee Findly, age 64, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in Richmond at the Compassionate Care Center.

Raymond was a pilot who had a deep love for airplanes. He found great peace and joy in flying the aircraft he had built himself. Raymond was also a successful businessman, operating a thriving business in California for more than 30 years. After retiring, he moved to Ravenna, Kentucky, where he had made his home for the past four years.

He is survived by his loving mother, Delores Findly of Ravenna, Kentucky; his stepdaughter, Ashley Austin of California; and two sisters, Brenda (David) McClean of Arizona and Lori Sabourin of North Carolina.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
